The Mystery of Genesis
Unraveling the Levels of Creation
Track 3 of the album Surrender, Bereshith Bara or Genesis, was born from my fascination with the first book of the Old Testament. If you read carefully you see how there is a whole story of creation. By the 6th day the Heavens, the Earth and Man are created and God rests on the 7th day. Yet there was no vegetation and no man to cultivate the earth, and a man is created out of the dust of the earth although he was already created. This always seemed odd to me. Further as the man of “dust” is then created and a woman is created from his rib they proceed to “fall” from the garden of Eden into another realm of creation that is dualistic, has limited knowledge and is a place of suffering and death.
Consciously reconnecting to the higher realms
All this indicates to me that there are many levels of creation and higher and lower worlds or realms of existence. It seems to me me that at this time in which we are living, where there is a remarkable revival in true spirituality, it is becoming possible to consciously reconnect with these higher realms more and more easily. A tool that has worked for me is the intonation of sacred expressions and names. To this end I have incorporated the incantation of the original Hebrew Names of God used in the first verses of Genesis over a reading of this multidimensional text.
I hope that through this track you too will get an experience of the higher worlds and the divine creative energies or hierarchies that reside in these realms as the divine names place you into resonance with them. It is my my prayer that in this way you will embody, ever more fully, your highest potential as a divine/human being who is made in the Image and Similitude of the Divine.
