Brand New Light is the final song and culmination of the show Jacob’s Ladder. The video associated with this song is a very quick visual summary of the show. I have had a some questions about the use of the Tarot Cards, so I would like to share a few thoughts about that with you.
Firstly, my intention in using the Tarot cards is not divinatory. Rather, I have used some of the pictures of the major arcana of the Tarot to show the state of the world today and provide a message of hope and guidance, a rudimentary roadmap. I chose a card to illuminate each of the sephiroth (the 10 Divine Attributes) of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life as we ascend the Tree (also sometimes referred to as Jacob’s Ladder). The ultimate objective is a reconnection with our inborn Divine potential. Each of the sephiroth are associated with a song and the journey is further interspersed with chants, invocations and a short meditation.
Although the Tarot is associated with fortune telling much of the imagery of the 22 cards of the Major Arcana is provocative, portraying archetypal symbols, Biblical content and even Kabbalistic influences. Thus to my mind the Tarot, in particular the pictures of the Waite Rider deck that I used, can speak to us on many levels.

In summary, I have used the Tarot cards as evocative symbols to guide those who have the ears to hear on an inner journey or a spiritual quest. To me the cards are tools of communication and signposts that can guide people embarking on a path of illumination. Let us not confuse the sign post with the destination and let us pray that those on the path may be guided by the Most High.
The cards that I chose to tell the story of our ascent of the Tree of Life are (Sephira / Attribute / Tarot Card / My perception):
Malkuth / Material Kingdom / The Devil / a symbol of how mankind is held in bondage by the fallen hierarchies that control this local universe
Yesod / Foundation / The Tower / a card depicting purification through the power of the thunderbolt or “Ze” ousting the false kings of the earth and all the lower personas that do not serve as we seek to reconnect to spirit
Hod / Glory / The Hermit / illumination through the power of the Divine Light, wisdom of the ages, staff of the teacher and the adept
Netzach / Victory / The Moon / victory over our lower emotions, over the lower reflected light, and psychic tendencies of the lower mind
Tiphereth / Beauty / The Sun / connecting to the Beauty of the higher Light, we see the banner of Jehovah Jireh, the seed will be saved, the children that lead the way on a white horse
Geburah / Strength / Death / signifying a rebirth
Chesed / Loving Kindness / Judgement / the trumpet call of Gabriel awakening us out of the grave into eternal life
Da’at / Knowledge / The Hanged Man / the one who has been crucified and anointed, notice the halo
Binah / Understanding / The Star / here I see the pouring out of Grace by the Divine Feminine upon the land and the waters, the card draws our attention to a greater cosmology and programming that is connected with the Pleiades, also the central star reminds me of the Creator of the luminaries and if you look closely the bird in the bush is reminiscent of the phoenix rising out of the ashes…
Chokmah / Wisdom / The Fool / who wears the coat of many colours and has put his faith into a Higher Hand
Kether / Crown / The World / stepping through the gateway into the higher worlds Torah scrolls garmented with the higher vibration, and notice the 4 Hayot, the lion, eagle, bull and Man.
For those who are familiar with the teachings of the Academy for Future Science, I would like to emphasise that this show depicts our journey through the lower physical worlds. As we “choose to be chosen” to “serve the Most High and humanity” we become liberated form the earthly archetypes, from the influences of the lower heavens, and from the thought forms and the conditioning of the programmers that exist in limitation and seek to take glory unto themselves. We are privileged that we have the opportunity to engage with the higher sciences of Enoch and Metatron to the Glory of YHWH. We are blessed that through the Academy teachings we have had our eyes opened to an expanded view of creation that is intelligent, loving, limitless and open ended.
Ultimately the intent of the show Jacob’s Ladder is to portray an individual and collective spiritual journey that can allow us all to connect with our highest Divine potential in the name of YHWH.
